Why was June chosen? June was when the stonewall riots took a place, way back in 1969
At Greenacre, we celebrate each other and our successes every day. However, it is important for us to also celebrate what makes us diverse, yet unique and this is what Pride Month is all about. ![]()
This year is a very important year for LGBT+ people as it is 20 years since the Section 28 law (banning the promotion of homosexuality) was repealed, which enabled further equality and visibility for LGBT+ people throughout our communities. ![]()
