There are currently five Academies in the Skills For Life Trust:
Chantry Community Academy joined the Trust as a sponsored academy on 1st January 2016. It became a GOOD school following an inspection in January 2022.
The Headteacher is Kathryn Duncan.
Greenacre Academy is the founder member of the Trust and converted to Academy status in April 2012. There are 930 students on roll including the boys in years 7 to 11 together with the boys in the sixth form which is a partnership with the neighbouring trust school, Walderslade Girls’ School.
The Headteacher is Shelly Bridger.
Hilltop Primary Academy joined the Trust as a converter academy on 1st February 2018. In June 2022 the school received a full inspection from Ofsted resulting in a GOOD status.
The Headteacher is Ewa Eddy.
Warren Wood Primary Academy joined the Trust as a sponsored Academy on 1st July 2014. Although placed in ‘special measures’ by OFSTED in December 2013, the Academy has now progressed to GOOD following an inspection in October 2019.
The Headteacher is Lucinda Woodroof.
Walderslade Girls’ School joined the Trust as a converter academy on 1st September 2018.
The Headteacher is Louise Campbell.
As well as the five academies we have a joint sixth form across the secondary schools; PGW (Partnership Greenacre and Walderslade) and GSP (Greenacre Sports Partnership) who deliver sports session across the academies and other schools within the area.
