At the Skills for Life Trust our core vision is to prepare all our young people for their next steps in life. We understand that a quality education is not just focused on academic achievement but is also built around the foundations of developing softer skills that will support personal development, employability skills and self-care.

Mission

“To nurture and develop all people in our Trust so that they reach their full potential academically, vocationally and personally, including being positive role models for future generations in the community. We will achieve this by providing high quality values-based education that cultivates employability and life skills making our schools the first choice for young people, staff, parents, carers and employers.”

The Mission embodies our drive towards care, values led education, community, employability but still with academia and life skills at its heart.  We aim to provide a level of educational service for all that supports family and community development. This compliments our vision of:

Skills for Life Values

Our Values underpin all we do.  They are lived, breathed and modelled daily in all our schools by students, staff and all stakeholders. Our chosen core values have been influenced by the changing needs in our society post pandemic and have been identified as important by our students and employers.
